Day 1 Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (850m/2,788ft) and drive to Syange (1,119m/3,670ft), 9 to 10 hours driving

Today marks the start of our expedition as we journey to Syange. It is also the launching pad for our trekking and climbing adventures. Setting off early is key, considering the 130 km distance west of Kathmandu valley. The road to Besisahar is smooth, but beyond that, expect a dusty and bumpy ride. Despite the discomfort, the scenic drive offers glimpses of rural Nepal lush hills, rushing rivers, quaint villages, and also terraced farms.
