About Kul Bahadur Gurung:

Kul Bahadur Gurung, a seasoned tourism professional and entrepreneur, is the visionary founder and Managing Director of Alliance Treks & Expedition (P.) Ltd. With over three decades of experience in the trekking and travel industry, he has guided countless travelers across Nepal.  Internationally, creating safe, memorable, and personalized travel experiences he created brand himself.

A resident of Ruby Valley Rural Municipality we call it Ruby Valley Treks, Dhading, Nepal, and currently based in Kathmandu, Mr. Gurung has extensive global exposure, having traveled to more than 45 countries including India, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, France, Germany, Belgium, Cyprus, Italy, South Korea, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, USA, Taiwan, Dubai, Iran, Luxemburg, Czeck Republic, Switzerland, Bhutan and more. His international experience allows him to design tours that meet global standards while highlighting the unique beauty and culture of Nepal.

Education & Professional Expertise:

Mr. Gurung has an impressive academic background, holding a B.Com and MBS (Masters in Business Studies) from Tribhuvan University, an LLB from Nepal Law Campus/Tribhuvan University, a Master’s in Tourism Studies (MTS) from KATH College, and pursuing a PhD scholarship from Lincoln College, Malaysia. In Addition, Mr. Kul also completed several specialized trainings, including SEO optimization, export marketing, personality development, business management, and advanced trekking guide courses. Accordingly, currently himself is the trainer for Tourist guides, Trekking guides and Trekking porter guides.  Additinally, Fluent in Nepali, English, Japanese, and several regional languages, he ensures effective communication with both local and international clients. Further more, his technical skills in content creation, and business operations further strengthen his ability to manage and grow his tourism ventures professionally.

Professional Experience:

Mr. Gurung has begun his tourism career since 1992. He founded Alliance Treks & Expedition, which has since become a leading trekking and travel company in Nepal. Similarly, he also directs multiple organizations, including Nepal Holiday Travel & Tours (P.) Ltd., Nepal One Travel & Tours. Further more, he is even the promoter of  Be-Kul Language Management Training Center and  Be-Kul Publishing as well as  Yak Construction Pvt. Ltd.

Affiliation in Tourism Umbrella Organizations:

Further more, his leadership extends far beyond business operations. MR. has served in several distinguished roles within leading national and international tourism and mountaineering organizations. He is the Past Vice President of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Past General Secretary of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). He is also the Founding Secretary of the Climate Alliance of Himalayan Communities (CAHC). As a trade leader, Founding President of the Gurung Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association Nepal (GTEAN).  Furthermore, he is the founding president of  Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee (GHTDC).

At the international level, he served as a Past Management Committee Member (MCM) of the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA). Notably, he is the first individual from the Gurung community and only the second person from Nepal to hold this respected position. Accordingly he also holds full membership in the Expedition Commission of UIAA as well as  serves as a member of the Youth Commission of the Asian Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UAAA).

International recognized volunteers Organizations:

In addition, he currently serves as the District Secretary of Kiwanis Nepal District for the Kiwanis Year 2025–2026 and as the Chair of the Youth Department of The Rotary Club of Himalayan Gurkhas, along with his continued involvement in several other professional and social organizations.

Through these leadership roles, he has consistently contributed to the growth of sustainable tourism.  Accordingly youth development, and mountaineering advancement both in Nepal and internationally.

Kishor Nepal is the CEO and Co-founder with over 25 years of experience in the Himalayan tourism industry. He specializes in creating private and personalized travel experiences across Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet, tailored to individual interests and travel styles.

With deep regional knowledge and hands-on involvement, Kishor ensures smooth planning, reliable logistics, and high standards of service. His passion for responsible tourism and attention to detail continue to deliver meaningful and memorable journeys throughout the Himalayas.

Prabin Gurung oversees IT and Sales Marketing, playing a key role in strengthening the company’s digital presence and client communication. He manages the technical systems, online platforms, and marketing tools that support smooth operations and effective customer engagement.

With a strong understanding of both technology and tourism sales, Prabin ensures efficient inquiry handling, clear information flow, and timely responses to clients. His contribution helps enhance service quality, brand visibility, and overall customer satisfaction.

Kabita Shakya has over 18 years of experience in the tourism industry and serves as Tour & Operations Manager. Her personal involvement in every stage of trip planning—listening closely to clients’ expectations, ensuring smooth logistics, and maintaining high standards of safety and service. His commitment to responsible tourism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for the Himalayas have earned long-term trust and repeat travelers. Under her leadership, the company continues to focus on quality over quantity, offering meaningful, authentic, and memorable experiences throughout the Himalayan region.

Laxmi Gurung brings professional experience in administration, accounts and Quality Control, supporting the company’s financial and office operations. She plays an important role in maintaining accurate documentation, timely financial processing, and efficient office management, contributing to the overall reliability and professionalism of the organization. Quality control is an essential part of our operations, ensuring that every service meets high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. From trip planning and logistics to on-ground execution, we closely monitor each detail to maintain consistency and excellence. Continuous feedback, regular evaluation of our team and partners, and a commitment to improvement allow us to deliver dependable and high-quality travel experiences every time.

Rubi Gurung – Customer Service Coordinator at Alliance Treks and Expeditions provides dedicated support to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for every client. She handles booking coordination, and travel documentation with efficiency and care. With good knowledge of Nepal’s destinations and travel logistics, she assists travelers in planning their journeys confidently. Rubi is known for her prompt communication, attention to detail, and friendly approach. Her commitment to service excellence ensures reliable assistance for all travelers. She is also a qualified tour Guide.

Mukti Gurung serves as an Office Executive, supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization. She manages general administrative tasks, including document handling, data entry, and office coordination.
