Day 2 Syaphrubesi to Gatlang (2,340m/7,677ft) via Goljung: 6hrs walking.

Today's route unfolds along the bank of Chilime Khola initially. Commencing with a crossing of a suspension bridge over the north bank of Chilime Khola, our ascent persists until we traverse another suspension bridge to the south. Day 5 Trek to Paldor Peace Base Camp (4,250m/13,940ft), 4 hours walking

After breakfast, start a mostly uphill trek over rocky, technical terrain alongside Somdang Khola. The trail can be slippery, so walk carefully with your guide. Near Paldor Peak Base Camp, you'll cross the river, which is low in winter and autumn but stronger during the monsoon. Take a half-day to rest and acclimatize while rechecking your climbing gear.
