Helambu Circuit Trek – A Hidden Paradise Near Kathmandu

The Helambu Circuit Trek was exactly the peaceful Himalayan adventure we were looking for. We wanted a less crowded trail with authentic villages and beautiful mountain scenery, and this trek delivered everything we hoped for.

The walk through Shivapuri National Park, the sunrise at Chisapani, and the panoramic views from Tharepati were absolutely breathtaking. Visiting the Yolmo village of Tarke Gyang gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience local culture and traditional Buddhist monasteries.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we were trekking comfortably. Alliance Treks organized everything perfectly—from airport pickup to permits, accommodation, and transportation. Every lodge was welcoming, and we truly felt like we were traveling with local friends rather than a tour company.
