Overview

MICE Tourism — Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions — represents one of the fastest-growing segments of Nepal’s tourism industry, and for good reason. Few destinations in the world can offer a genuine Himalayan backdrop, rich cultural heritage, and increasingly capable event infrastructure within a single, easily accessible package. Whether you’re organizing a 50-person incentive trip for top-performing sales staff, a 300-delegate international conference, or a trade exhibition drawing exhibitors from across South Asia, Nepal offers a combination of value, accessibility, and “wow factor” that few competing destinations can match.

At Alliance Treks & Expedition, we design and manage complete MICE programs that go far beyond simply booking a conference hall. Drawing on decades of experience coordinating complex logistics across Nepal’s mountains, valleys, and cities, we bring the same precision and reliability to corporate event management — handling everything from venue selection and audio-visual setup to airport transfers, incentive excursions, and gala dinners with a mountain view. For international companies looking to combine serious business objectives with an unforgettable destination experience, Nepal and our team deliver both.

Why Nepal for MICE Tourism?

  • Direct International Connectivity via Tribhuvan International Airport, with growing flight links across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond
  • Cost-Effective Venues and Services compared to more saturated MICE destinations in the region, without compromising on quality
  • Dramatic, Unmatched Scenery — few destinations can offer conference breaks with direct Himalayan views
  • Rich Cultural Backdrop with UNESCO World Heritage Sites available for gala dinners, welcome receptions, and cultural evenings
  • Wide Range of Incentive Activities, from short cultural tours to adventure add-ons like paragliding, white-water rafting, and jungle safaris
  • Established Hospitality Infrastructure in Kathmandu and Pokhara, with international-standard hotels and convention facilities
  • A Genuinely Memorable Destination that helps organizations stand out in an increasingly competitive incentive-travel market

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu & Welcome Reception

Delegates arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and are transferred by private vehicle to their conference hotel. In the evening, a welcome reception introduces the group to Nepali hospitality, often featuring traditional music, cultural performances, and a networking dinner to kick off the program.

Day 2 Full-Day Conference Sessions

The main conference day, held in a fully equipped hall with stage setup, audio-visual support, and breakout rooms for smaller working sessions. Coffee breaks and lunch are arranged with scenic or culturally themed settings where possible, and the day concludes with a group cultural evening at a heritage site such as Patan Durbar Square or Boudhanath. Venue: Conference Hall, Kathmandu

Day 3 Half-Day Sessions & Kathmandu Valley Cultural Tour

The morning continues with conference sessions or workshops, while the afternoon is dedicated to a guided cultural tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites — Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath — offering delegates a well-earned break paired with genuine cultural immersion. Venue: Conference Hotel / Kathmandu Valley Heritage Sites

Day 4 Fly/Drive to Pokhara for Incentive Activities

The group transfers to Pokhara, Nepal's lakeside city framed by the Annapurna range, for a day of incentive and team-building activities. Options include boating on Phewa Lake, a paragliding session over the valley, a short scenic hike to Sarangkot for sunrise Himalayan views, or a structured team-building program designed around your group's objectives. Venue: Lakeside Resort, Pokhara

Day 5 Closing Ceremony & Departure

A closing session wraps up the conference with final remarks, awards, or recognition ceremonies as needed, followed by a farewell lunch. Delegates are then transferred back to Kathmandu (by flight or road) and on to the airport for their onward journeys.
