If you want to escape the busy trekking trails, Kapuche is a wonderful choice. We hardly saw other trekkers during some parts of the journey, which made the experience feel very special. The walk through the forests was beautiful, while the higher sections opened up to huge Himalayan views. Kapuche Lake was much more impressive than I expected, and the surrounding landscape looked almost unreal. I especially enjoyed staying around the local villages and experiencing the hospitality along the route. It was a peaceful and memorable adventure.

What attracted me to this trek was the combination of Kapuche Lake and Kori Danda, and both were amazing. The trail had plenty of uphill sections, so I was glad I had prepared with regular hiking before coming to Nepal. The scenery changed constantly, and every day had something different to see. Standing on the ridge with the Annapurna range in front of us was unforgettable. I also enjoyed meeting local people in Sikles and learning a little about Gurung culture. This trek gave me both adventure and a real cultural experience.

The Kapuche Lake Trek was a completely different experience from the more crowded Annapurna routes. I really enjoyed the peaceful trail through Sikles and the opportunity to experience a traditional Gurung village without large groups of tourists around. Reaching Kapuche Lake was the highlight for me. Seeing the glacier and ice-covered mountains so close to such a relatively low-altitude lake was incredible. The climb toward Kori Danda was tiring, but the mountain views made every step worthwhile. It felt like discovering a part of Nepal that most visitors never see.

This trek definitely tested my legs, particularly during the higher sections, but every difficult climb had an amazing view waiting at the top. I loved the atmosphere around Namche and the quieter feeling once we moved farther into the mountains. Standing at Everest Base Camp was something I had dreamed about for years. Then seeing the Gokyo Lakes afterwards made the trip even more special. The whole experience felt well organized and our guide was very patient with our different walking speeds.

I had originally planned to do Everest Base Camp, but adding Gokyo Lakes turned out to be the best decision. Base Camp was an emotional experience, especially after so many days of walking to reach it. Gokyo was a completely different kind of beautiful, with the turquoise lakes and huge mountains surrounding the valley. The days were challenging, but the itinerary gave us enough time to adjust to the altitude. Our guide was professional, encouraging and always available when we needed help.

I chose this trek because I wanted to see Everest Base Camp but also experience the Gokyo Lakes, and combining both was absolutely worth it. The trail through Namche and the higher Sherpa villages was beautiful, and reaching Everest Base Camp was a special moment. Gokyo was completely different and much quieter. The views from Gokyo Ri were probably the highlight of the entire trip. Our guide was excellent, especially when it came to managing the altitude and keeping everyone comfortable.

I have travelled to Nepal before, but this was my first trek in the Gokyo Valley. The landscape is incredible and feels completely different once you get higher into the valley. Walking past the glacial lakes and seeing the mountains reflected in the water was one of the most beautiful moments of the trip. I also enjoyed the local teahouses and meeting other trekkers along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable about the route and made the entire journey feel relaxed and enjoyable.

This was my first high-altitude trek in Nepal, so I was a little nervous about how my body would handle the elevation. Fortunately, our itinerary allowed us to increase altitude gradually and our guide regularly checked how everyone was feeling. I really enjoyed the villages along the route and the views became more spectacular every day. Gokyo itself was my favourite place, especially sitting beside the lake after a long walking day. The whole experience was very well organized.

What I loved most about the Gokyo Lake Trek was the atmosphere. After reaching Namche, the trail gradually became quieter and the scenery kept getting better. The turquoise lakes surrounded by huge Himalayan peaks were beautiful, especially in the morning when the water was completely calm. Some of the uphill sections were challenging, but our guide was very supportive and never rushed us. It was a wonderful combination of adventure, nature and mountain culture.

The climb to Gokyo Ri was probably the toughest morning of the trek, but also the best one. We started early and reached the viewpoint as the mountains were beginning to light up. The panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and the Gokyo Valley was something I will never forget. The trek itself was also very enjoyable, especially the walk beside the turquoise lakes. Our guide kept a good pace and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.
