Lower Dolpo is definitely a trek for people who enjoy adventure and remote landscapes. The trails were demanding in places, but the scenery made every difficult section worthwhile. I particularly enjoyed the quiet mountain valleys and traditional settlements. Race was an experienced and dependable guide who took great care of our group. I would happily return to Dolpo in the future.
