There were so many memorable moments during these 24 days that it is difficult to choose a favorite. Sometimes it was a huge mountain view, sometimes a quiet village, and sometimes just sitting with the group after a long day of walking. Upper Dolpo has an incredible atmosphere. Race was an excellent guide and always kept things positive. I really enjoyed the adventure from beginning to end.

What I loved most about Upper Dolpo was how disconnected everything felt. There was no rushing, no busy streets, and very little of the noise we are used to in daily life. Instead, we had mountains, valleys, small villages, and beautiful walking trails. The trek was challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed having that challenge. Race was very caring and made the whole journey feel well managed.

If you enjoy remote and adventurous trekking, Upper Dolpo is something special. The route was challenging, but every difficult section seemed to lead to another incredible landscape.
