Growth of Mission Ganesh Himal
After laying the groundwork during the early years, Mission Ganesh Himal (MGH) took another leap of growth from 2018 to 2022. The project grew and went beyond its original health focus to include the development of health awareness programs and educational workshops for women as well as its primary work in Ruby Valley. However, plans were not put on hold; the pandemic of 2020 resulted in a slowdown of operations, and by 2021 and 2022, the mission was back on its feet with the return of international partners and programs reaching further out.
2018 – Growth of HEET Focus
The mission formally began shaping around the HEET framework.
- Health check-ups and medical camps expanded

- Cultural interaction with international visitors strengthened
2019 – Community-Based Sustainability Work
- Focus shifted toward long-term sustainability.
- Greenhouse and farming support initiatives introduced

- Tourism awareness programs in Ruby Valley promoted
2020 – Limited Activities Due to Global Pandemic
- Activities were reduced due to COVID-19 restrictions.

2021 – Gradual Restart
- The mission slowly resumed activities.
