This was the perfect trip, everything was so well thought out and prepared that we could just enjoy the being there. Everything was tailored to our needs . Having a local guide meant we were treated as a local rather than a tourist and have information on the way of life and landscape we saw. Comfortable accommodation and good food.

Kishor had organized everything for us. All transportation, very knowledgeable guides for the city sightseeing and for our trek, a wildlife specialist for our jungle walk in Chitwan, and a porter for the trek. Not a hitch. All went very smoothly. On the five day Annapurna foothills trek to Ghorepani (for Poonhill), and Ghandruk, our guide Jaybir and porter Dal were wonderful. Mentioning Dal Bhat power always got a laugh. Thanks guys. We do hope we'll be able to come back some day for another trek.

Mr Kul and His Team has made another great trek for me. This time I went for Winter Trek at Everest Region which was a totally new experience - crystal clear skies, sunny and warm days, basically no one at the mountains which makes it an impossible to admire natural beauty of the region, to meet a lot of wild animals and birds and just feel solitude ... it is a bit colder at nights but lodges yet provide good warm houses to stay for a night, and some lodges may also provide electronic blankets. Alliance Trek & Expeditions made great arrangements for me - an experienced guide who tries to follow your mood and adjusts promptly, he was ready to adapt my trek rout during the journey as I originally targeted Gokyo Lakes but then decided to turn to Tangboche due to cold weather up there, and my guide was very easy to change the rout. Alliance Co also recommended me a very new and super cozy hotel at Tyangboche village - which made an exclusive add on to my trip. Another great bonus was to have a shared Helicopter from Tyangboche down to Lukla and Kathmandu. Alliance Trek & Expedition made an impossible job to find a shared helicopter at such low season which allowed me not only to keep in with the budget but also to have one more day up in the mountains. This was the second time I went on trek with Alliance Co and I loved it! My first trek with them was with my 6 year old son which was a very special journey where I was far more demanding as it was my first trip to mountains with my kid and it went all super great. I recomend Alliance Trek & Expeditions as they are very honest and kind people, the know the Himalayan region very well and can tell you a lot about different routs and help to select one which you are up to.

Alliance Treks & Expedition was true to everything they promised. My wife who loves to hike but not at high altitude joined me for 6 days of exploring Kathmandu city and three days of hiking outside and around Kathmandu. Those three days hiking were magical with Guide Jaybir and porter Lama. They were such a great team and fun to hang with!. Both teaching us about local customs, plants and fawna and some history of Nepal. Kul, president of Alliance Treks & Expedition came recommended by a friend in Canada who had trekked with Kul many times 15-20 years ago. Over the last 15 years the Annapurna Circuit has changed and adapted to the needs of the Nepali. New roads and electricity now reach deep into the Himalaya. So Kul and his team created a custom itinerary for me to trek solo with Lama as my Guide and Porter. But Lama was so much more than Guide and porter. He anticipated my every need before I needed. Lama found off shoot treks to help me acclimatize to higher elevations ahead which was critical to my continued enjoyment and comfort. Lama was also a great listener. At first I was bit nervous spending 16 days with someone I hardly knew, but within 24 hours we felt completely comfortable with each other. If you are solo trekking Lama is my first and only choice for a porter/guide. If you are two or more trekkers Jaybir and Lama are a great team. For me the Annapurna circuit was dream come true and a pilgrimage to be among the most majestic mountains in the world and to spend time mingling with the Nepali people and trekkers from all over the world. We used Alliance trek for a 12-night trip, including the 8 nights on the Annapurna base camp trek at the end of April 2025. Kishor put the itinerary together for us, and adapted it to include high-end hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The instructions and communications before going were great, and Kishor was very responsive. It was really clear what was included in the package and we didn’t find any unexpected hidden costs along that way. We were greeted at Kathmandu airport by our guide, Jaybir, who would stay with us for the whole trip. Kishor came and met us personally at our hotel and took us through everything we needed to know. On the trek itself, Jaybir was joined by Uncle Dal, and we started our magical journey. Annapurna Base Camp is a fantastic trek, going through jungle, villages and valleys, before rising up into the mountains. There are villages and guest-house stations all along the route, but it still has an adventurous feel: you won’t see a car or road for 5 days. The exposure to the local people and economy is incredibly moving and humbling. Jaybir and Dal had extensive experience walking the trail and great relationships with the local guesthouse owners, which is incredibly important for making sure, you get quiet rooms, fed on time. They were incredibly kind, courteous and friendly, curious about where we came from and proud to share their experiences. We became like a family. One of us had a big birthday on the morning at Annapurna Base Camp, and we were surprised with a massive cake, which they’d beavered through the night to make. It was an amazing experience. We felt safe, cared for and in good hands all throughout our time in Nepal.

He knows a lot about the mountains and can tell you exactly which peaks you see. You can walk with him if you want to hike briskly, but taking it easy is also fine – he adapts effortlessly. I really enjoyed this day. Thank you, Ridhhi, for an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful experience we would highly recommend. Everything went to plan with flexibility. Lodges were extremely welcoming with excellent food and hospitality. Ridhhe and Dal our guide and porter were great fun and made our treks really special. We will leave here with very happy memories. Thank you and see you again.

I first did the Anna Purna circuit a 14 day trek that I had hear about many times over the years. I was set up with an expert guide and everything went extremely well. We hiked in very pleasant weather conditions and my guide Jay Bir possessed a wealth of information on the local plants, animals and cultures that we encountered along the way.

I had the privilege of working with Kul, Reddhi and Lama with our charity team of 17 during October and November. We worked with Kul organising the trek to Everest Base camp over a period of time. Kul was very attentive to the needs of the team and answered questions very promptly. We arrived in Kathmandu not long after the very bad flooding, Kul found reliable ways to get us to Ramechhap to fly to Lukla. Due to inclement weather we had a 3 day delay in flying to Lukla, The whole team looked out for us and communicated throughout this time all our options. We finally made it to Lukla and began the trek. We were looked after really well. The trek was amazing, although harder than I thought it would be. Reddhi, Lama and all the team were very attentive to the varied needs of the team. Helping sort bags, gear and meals etc and taking care of those who were not feeling well. After the trek we once again got held up in Lukla and spent another 3 days trying to leave due to bad weather. We missed our flight connections as a result. Kul and Reddhi communicated really well and helped us find extra accomodation. Without their help I am not sure we would have even been able to fly out as there was many others trying to vacate by plane or helicopter. Although we missed our days in Kathmandu, Kul still made sure the team had the opportunity to visit the Monkey temple and organised our transfers to the airport. As a result of the weather our time was extended in Nepal. Thanks Kul, Reddhi and Lama and all the team, you made our time so memorable and a life time experience we will always treasure. I was lucky enough to take part in the MGH 2024 mission and this experience is sth that I will always remember and cherish. Thanks to the Alliance Treks’ team and the kindness of every single one of our guides, the trek to the villages though difficult was a beautiful adventure of discovery and friendship.
