I was interested in this trek because of Muktinath's spiritual importance, and the visit turned out to be much more meaningful than I had expected. The temple area has a special atmosphere, with pilgrims, prayer flags, shrines, and the surrounding mountain scenery. I also enjoyed walking through the villages on the way, especially Kagbeni, where the traditional buildings and quiet lanes were fascinating. Race explained the cultural significance of the places we visited in a thoughtful and respectful way. The trek was well paced, and I appreciated having time to explore rather than rushing through every stop. It was a memorable cultural and mountain experience.

The Jomsom Muktinath Trek was one of the most enjoyable parts of my visit to Nepal. I loved how different the Mustang landscape felt compared with the greener mountain regions I had seen earlier. The wide Kali Gandaki Valley, dry hills, traditional villages, and distant snow-covered peaks made the walking days really interesting. Visiting Muktinath was a special experience, and I also enjoyed exploring Kagbeni's narrow streets. This was one of the most demanding trips I have undertaken, but it was also one of the most rewarding. The journey through Chame, Pisang, and Manang gave us a beautiful introduction to the Annapurna region before we headed toward Tilicho Lake and the remote high pass. I loved the turquoise lake, the vast mountain scenery, and the feeling of being far from the busiest trekking routes. Mesokanto La required real effort, and I would not recommend underestimating the altitude or the terrain. The Mesokanto Trek offered some of the most impressive mountain scenery I have seen in Nepal. I enjoyed the dramatic rock faces and river valleys early in the journey, followed by the stark high-altitude landscape around Tilicho. The lake was a real highlight, and the remote section toward Mesokanto La made the trek feel like a proper expedition. The route was physically demanding, so I appreciated having a guide who understood the terrain and kept the group organized. Race was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. Reaching the Mustang side after the pass was especially satisfying because we could see how much ground we had covered. The 13-day itinerary made for a memorable adventure, and I would consider another challenging trek with the same team.
