I would definitely recommend this trek to anyone who wants to see Mustang but doesn't have time for a longer itinerary. The combination of Kagbeni, Jharkot, Muktinath, Marpha, and Dhumba Lake gave us a really good variety of scenery and culture. Race was an excellent guide—friendly, caring, and knowledgeable throughout the journey. The organization was smooth, and every day brought something different. A very memorable six-day adventure.

The Short Lower Mustang Trek was a wonderful escape from the busy parts of Nepal. I loved the wide mountain valleys, dry landscapes, old villages, and quiet trails. Visiting Muktinath and exploring Kagbeni were particularly memorable. Race looked after the group very well and was always available when we needed help. For a six-day trip, we experienced an impressive amount of Mustang.

Even though this was only six days, it never felt like we were missing out. There was a good mix of walking, village exploration, mountain scenery, and cultural experiences. Some uphill sections were tiring, but Race kept a comfortable pace and encouraged us when needed. I particularly liked the quieter moments in the villages. It was a very enjoyable introduction to Mustang.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in Marpha. The traditional whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and surrounding mountains made it such a pleasant place to explore. The visit to Dhumba Lake was another memorable part of the journey. Race was caring and easy to travel with, and he shared interesting information about the local communities. The six days were packed with great experiences.

The landscape was the biggest surprise for me. I had seen pictures of Mustang before, but seeing the huge valleys and rocky mountains in person was completely different. The route around Kagbeni and Muktinath was especially impressive. Race was a great guide who knew the area well and kept everyone motivated. I really enjoyed the slower pace and the opportunity to stop for photos.

I wanted to experience Mustang without committing to a long trek, and this six-day itinerary worked really well for me. The walking days were enjoyable, and there was enough time to explore the villages and take photographs. Marpha and Dhumba Lake were beautiful highlights. Race was friendly and attentive throughout the journey. It was a great balance between sightseeing, walking, and relaxing.

Muktinath was definitely the highlight of my trip. The location, mountain surroundings, and spiritual atmosphere made the visit very special. I also enjoyed walking through Jharkot and seeing the landscape change as we gained altitude. Race was very supportive throughout the trek and never made us feel rushed. He explained the places we visited and helped make the whole experience much more meaningful.

The villages felt very different from other parts of Nepal, and I enjoyed seeing the traditional architecture, prayer flags, monasteries, and local lifestyle. Kagbeni was particularly interesting to explore. Race was knowledgeable about the region and happy to answer all our questions. It was a short trip but felt like we experienced a lot.

The Lower Mustang landscape was completely different from the green hills I had imagined when I first came to Nepal. The dry cliffs, open valleys, mountain views, and traditional villages made every day interesting. I particularly enjoyed the journey toward Muktinath and exploring the old village areas. Race was an excellent guide and kept the pace comfortable. Six days went by much faster than expected.
